A Structural Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the built environment, contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that meet the needs of society while adhering to technical, regulatory, and ethical standards.

YOUR ROLE AS STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

 

  • Design structural systems using steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and light gauge materials. 

  • Develop and analyze project specifications, calculations, and drawings to ensure compliance with local and national building codes. 

  • Perform structural analysis and provide innovative engineering solutions for complex projects. 

  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and structural detailers to ensure accurate project documentation and construction details. 

  • Review engineering drawings and perform quality checks to guarantee design accuracy. 

  • Assist with project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. 

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one is highly desirable. 

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RISA 3D is preferred. 

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and TEKLA is advantageous. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

 

This position is based at our headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Position requires an on-site presence with professional flexibility. Travel estimated at 15% and as necessitated by business needs, customer meetings, and growth initiatives.
