Job Summary:  

In this three-month internship, the Structural Engineering Intern will help students gain hands on experience before leaving college. In addition to gaining real world experience students will be able to apply knowledge they have gained in school. They will learn various key skills that you can’t pick up by sitting in a classroom. The vision for the role is not only to assist our Engineering Team with ANVIL’s existing customers, quality performance, and reputation but also to participate in the company’s strategy and ensure that profits are maximized in a manner consistent with ANVIL’s culture.
 
Requirements:

-Entering Sophomore year or higher
-Minimum GPA of 3.0
-Majoring in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Mining, Construction Management, Safety, or Architectural Studies
-Ability to work 40 hours per week
-Travel and Temporary relocation may be required. Reliable transportation to job sites.
-Able to work as part of a team, as well as individually
-Strong work ethic
-Ability to meet deadlines
-Attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies
-Effective oral and written communication skills
-Strong organization/time management skills
